Andrea Bocelli Brings Romanza Anniversary Tour to Yas Island During Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Week

Andrea Bocelli is bringing a dose of classical grandeur to Formula 1’s biggest week in Abu Dhabi.

The world-renowned Italian tenor has been announced as the first artist for Yasalam Classics, a new concert series debuting during the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026 race week. Bocelli will perform at Etihad Arena on Yas Island on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, as part of his Romanza 30th Anniversary World Tour.

The performance will open the inaugural Yasalam Classics series, adding a new lane to the already packed Yasalam presented by e& entertainment program. The concert will feature Bocelli alongside the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, bringing a full orchestral setting to one of the region’s biggest sport-and-entertainment weeks.

Produced by Ethara in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, Yasalam Classics marks the first time music classics have been folded into the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix entertainment slate. The broader race week lineup already includes Lewis Capaldi, Zara Larsson and Imagine Dragons, with more artists still to be announced.

Bocelli’s appearance also lands during a major milestone year. His landmark album Romanza, released in 1997, turns 30 with a global anniversary tour celebrating the record that helped turn him into an international phenomenon. The album includes some of his most celebrated works and remains one of the most successful non-English language albums of all time.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders will receive exclusive 24-hour pre-sale access before tickets go on general sale at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17 via Ticketmaster.ae and EtihadArena.ae.
