F1 Turns Up the Volume: Grid Gigs Expands to Five Races in 2026

Formula 1 is bringing its pre-race concert series back in 2026 — and it is starting in Miami with Manuel Turizo.

F1 Grid Gigs presented by American Express will return next year on an expanded five-race schedule, following its debut in 2025. The series will launch at the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX 2026, where the multi-Latin GRAMMY-nominated and U.S. Platinum-selling artist will perform on the grid before lights out.

The 2026 lineup will see Grid Gigs appear at races in Miami, Silverstone, Abu Dhabi, Austin and Las Vegas, marking a major expansion for the entertainment platform after last year’s pilot events in Austin and Las Vegas.

“After an incredible debut year, we’re excited to bring F1 Grid Gigs back in 2026 on an even bigger scale, transforming the grid into a global stage at five Grands Prix,” said Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1. “From Miami to Silverstone and Abu Dhabi, these performances are designed to elevate the atmosphere, connect fans at the track and around the world, and build unforgettable anticipation in the moments before the racing begins.”

Turizo will headline the Miami launch after the release of his new album Apambichao. Known for blending reggaeton, bachata, pop and tropical influences, the Colombian-American artist has become a major voice in Latin music and a natural fit for Miami’s cultural landscape.

“Miami is a city where music and culture take over, and after just releasing my new album Apambichao, I cannot wait to celebrate by being the first artist to perform at the F1 Grid Gigs presented by American Express,” Turizo said in a press release. “I’m ready to bring the Latin heat to the Grand Prix and to deliver for the fans in the stands before the drivers hit the track!”

Turizo’s biggest hits include “Una Lady Como Tú,” “El Merengue” with Marshmello and “La Bachata,” which reached the top 10 of the Billboard Global 200 and has amassed 2.6 billion streams on Spotify.

F1 Grid Gigs launched in 2025 as a way to turn the moments before a Grand Prix into a live entertainment spectacle, transforming the grid into a stage before the drivers go wheel to wheel. The debut year featured rising country artist Drake Milligan in Austin and Louis Tomlinson in Las Vegas.

More details on how fans can watch the 2026 performances from home will be announced at a later date.
