Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have postponed their upcoming Philadelphia concert due to scheduling conflicts tied to the city’s playoff calendar. The performance, originally set for May 8 at Xfinity Mobile Arena, has been moved to May 30.
“Due to the NBA and NHL playoff schedule, the Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band concert at Xfinity Mobile Arena has been rescheduled for May 30,” the band said in a statement shared on social media. “Tickets for the original date, May 8, will be honored on the new date.”
The postponement comes as both the Philadelphia 76ers and the Philadelphia Flyers continue their postseason runs, creating limited availability at the arena. The 76ers are scheduled to host the New York Knicks on May 8, the same night the concert had been planned. The Flyers are also slated to play home playoff games on May 7 and May 9.

Philadelphia’s NBA team advanced to the second round after defeating the Boston Celtics in a seven-game series. The win marked the franchise’s first playoff series victory over Boston in more than four decades and included a comeback from a 3–1 deficit, adding further demand for home games at the venue.
The Philadelphia stop is part of Springsteen’s ongoing “Land of Hope & Dreams” North American tour. The original May 8 date had been positioned between several New York-area performances, including a show in Elmont and multiple nights at Madison Square Garden, along with a Brooklyn performance at Barclays Center.
With the updated schedule, the Philadelphia concert will now take place after the tour’s previously scheduled May 27 performance at Nationals Park.
