'The Hayley Williams Show' Heads to Hollywood Bowl This Fall with No-Transfer Tickets

Hayley Williams is bringing a new show to Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl this October.

The Paramore frontwoman and pop-punk icon is currently on her “Ego Death at the Bachelorette Party” tour across North America and Europe, however, she’s already planning a new gig. “The Hayley Williams Show” is set to feature material across Williams’ three solo albums, “as well as some surprises.” The show will take over the Hollywood Bowl on October 5.

Tickets for the Hollywood Bowl gig will be available following a verified presale registration, running from April 28 at 10 a.m. PT to April 30 at 10 a.m. PT here. Registrants will confirm their email address and phone number before being sent a unique code to enter the presale, which will run from May 4 at 10 a.m. PT to May 5 at 10 p.m. PT.

Like Williams’ previous tours, the show will use a Face Value Exchange system, disabling ticket transfers.

When her “Ego Death at the Bachelorette Party” tour was first announced, Williams said that she wants to avert ticket resellers on her tour by putting measures in place ahead of the presale. 

“I want to get tickets into the hands of my fans, at a price that is as reasonable as I could get,” Williams said. “I’ve had countless conversations with my team, and they’ve spend countless hours trying to find the best solution for fans to be able to buy tickets. It’s been tough (to say the least), and unfortunately, there’s just no way to guarentee that zero tickets get scalped. But we’re doing our best.”

The singer, however, did not mention that alongside resellers, another broken part of the ticketing system lies within the primary ticketers; entertainment giant Live Nation and its ticketing subsidiary Ticketmaster have been called-out for egregious pricing, disguised under the models of “dynamic” or “platinum” prices.

Fans will, however, have the chance to sell or purchase resale tickets available through a Face Value Exchange. This restricts tickets from being resold through sites like Ticketmaster, AXS, and other ticketing platform.
