Pussycat Dolls Cancel North American Reunion Tour Dates, Citing ‘Honest Look’ at Sales

The Pussycat Dolls have canceled nearly all of the North American leg of their planned reunion tour, leaving only a scheduled appearance at WeHo Pride in Los Angeles on June 6.
The group, currently reuniting as a trio featuring Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt, announced the decision in a statement posted to Instagram, saying they had taken “an honest look” at the North American run before deciding to pull the dates.
“When we announced the PCD FOREVER Tour, we hoped to bring the show to fans across the world,” the group wrote. “After taking an honest look at the North American run, we’ve made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates.”

The lone remaining U.S. performance will take place at Outloud at WeHo Pride in Los Angeles on June 6. The group described the event as a meaningful place to appear, citing long-running support from LGBTQ+ fans.
“The LGBTQ+ community has shown us so much love and support throughout our career, and we’re honored to be part of a weekend rooted in joy, pride, music, and chosen family,” the group said.
The cancellations affect what had been planned as a sizable North American arena run across the U.S. and Canada in June, July and August. The tour had included major-market stops, including a planned Madison Square Garden date in New York, with Lil’ Kim and Mya advertised as opening acts on at least some of the North American shows.
While the group did not explicitly state that weak sales drove the decision, multiple reports noted that the tour had been drawing speculation from fans and industry observers after venue seating charts showed large blocks of unsold inventory. The BBC reported that poor ticket sales prompted the cancellation, while Variety noted that the group’s statement did not offer an alternative explanation beyond the reference to taking “an honest look” at the North American run.
The cancellation also comes amid renewed scrutiny of pricing and venue strategy for tours that may be mismatched to current demand. In the case of the Pussycat Dolls, high ticket prices and the decision to book large arenas rather than smaller theaters were cited by observers as likely contributors to the weak North American performance.
That dynamic has become increasingly visible across the live music business, where strong demand for top-tier acts and festivals has coexisted with a growing number of artists scaling back or canceling ambitious arena and stadium runs. Recent months have also seen Post Malone, Meghan Trainor and Zayn cancel or postpone portions of U.S. tour plans, with ticket sales appearing soft for several of those outings before changes were announced.
The Pussycat Dolls’ reunion also faced a more specific challenge: the returning lineup includes only Scherzinger, Roberts and Wyatt, rather than the full group that rose to prominence in the 2000s with hits including “Don’t Cha,” “Buttons” and “I Don’t Need a Man.” Some fans had questioned whether the partial reunion would support a full-scale North American arena tour.
The group’s U.K. and European dates remain scheduled to proceed, with the Dolls saying the response overseas has been much stronger and that several shows have already sold out. The European run is currently set to begin in Copenhagen in September and continue through the U.K. and Ireland, including stops in Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Dublin, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and London’s O2 Arena.
“Our UK and European dates are still moving forward as planned, and the response has been incredible, with several shows already sold out,” the group said. “We are putting everything into making this show a true celebration of the music and the memories, for the fans who have been with us from the beginning and those discovering us for the first time.”
Refunds will be issued automatically for tickets purchased through Ticketmaster, as well as for the Nashville date sold through AXS. Fans who bought tickets through third-party resale platforms including StubHub, SeatGeek or Vivid Seats were advised to contact their point of purchase.
The reunion follows an earlier attempted comeback that was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and later legal disputes. It also comes after Scherzinger’s high-profile run in “Sunset Boulevard,” which brought her renewed attention on both the West End and Broadway before returning to the pop stage.
