Strummingbird is flying back into Australia in 2026, and it has landed one massive headliner.
The touring country festival has unveiled its 2026 lineup, with Post Malone set to lead the charge across three October dates in Ballarat, Newcastle and the Sunshine Coast.
The modern country blowout will take over Victoria Park in Ballarat on Saturday, October 10, Newcastle Foreshore on Saturday, October 17, and Kawana Sports Precinct on the Sunshine Coast on Sunday, October 18.
And yes, Posty is bringing the country era with him.
The Grammy-nominated superstar returns to Australia three years after his sold-out Spilt Milk run, this time following the release of his Nashville-heavy album F-1 Trillion. The record pulled in a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album and featured a ridiculous guest list, including Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll.
Of course, fans can also expect the catalogue that made him a global force, from “Sunflower” and “Rockstar” to “Circles.”
He will be joined by multi-platinum country breakout Bailey Zimmerman, whose hits “Fall In Love”, “Rock and a Hard Place”, “Religiously” and “Where It Ends” have helped turn him into one of the genre’s fastest-rising names.
Also on the bill are Cooper Alan, Stella Lefty, Dexter & The Moonrocks, Brad Cox, Cam, Cigarettes @ Sunset, Kaitlin Butts, Noah Rinker, Sons of the East, Briana Dinsdale, Mack Geiger, Max Jackson, Sara Berki and Late Night Riot with Willie Pake.
Each Strummingbird stop will also feature a local artist, with Lewis Love playing Ballarat, Loren Ryan joining Newcastle, and Sammy White appearing on the Sunshine Coast.
Line dancing is also back, with Maddison Glover returning to keep boots moving between sets.
Camping will be available at the Sunshine Coast and Ballarat events, while buses from Melbourne to Ballarat are also set to go on sale later in May.
