ZAYN has officially called-off all U.S. dates on his “KONNAKOL World Tour.”
The pop star and former One Direction member ZAYN was set to cross the U.S. on an arena tour this July through September following a run in the U.K. and Mexico. However, the “PILLOWTALK” singer took to social media over the weekend to share that the leg would be called-off following a hospitalization due to an unspecified illness.
“Thank you so much for all the support and love you’ve shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers, and well wishes for my health,” ZAYN said on his Instagram story. “I’ve felt it, and it’s meant the world. I’ve been at home recovering, and I’m doing well and will be better and stronger than before.”
He said that after looking at his schedule, he’s decided to reduce the number of shows on his tour, which includes the U.S. dates.
“I want to make sure I still get out and see as many of you as I possibly can,” ZAYN continued. “I’m really looking forward to playing these shows for you, and I hope to see the rest of you around the world very soon.”
ZAYN is currently touring in support of his latest record, KONNAKOL. The album dropped on April 17, the same day he was hospitalized.
